Background

Tellemachus supply overt and covert IT support and technologies to police forces in the UK including The Metropolitan Police.

The Metropolitan Police Service is by far the largest of the police services that operate in greater London employing 31,141 officers, policing an area of 620 square miles and a population of 7.2 million.

Case

Tellemachus have provided a range of services to the Metropolitan Police including digital wireless network equipment and video transmission and distribution systems, which are used by the overt video department to help police at high profile events such as the “The Changing of the Guard” at Buckingham Palace and the New Years festivities in Trafalgar Square.

Tellemachus have also developed and delivered a bespoke training course designed specifically to enable the Police to take advantage of the benefits of emerging IP based products and technologies.
