Bradford & Bingley are one of the UK's leading retailers of financial and property related services; the largest high-street provider of independent financial advice and a successful top ten producer of mortgage and savings products. During 1999 savings balances grew £1.1bn to £15.5bn whilst pre-tax profit grew 44% to £184.4m.
