IndigoVision Codec’s VB9000 – IP Video & Audio Transmitters and Receivers Introduction

IndigoVision VB9000s codec’s use the latest H.264 compression technology offering analogue levels of quality at a choice of resolutions for the most demanding surveillance applications. The units allow traditional analog CCTV cameras and video monitors to be integrated into an IP network. The codec’s guarantee full frame rate, full colour 25/30 frames per second at any resolution or bit rate including SIF, 2SIF, 4SIF resolutions.

Featuring Activity Controlled Framerate (ACF), once enabled this unique and powerful feature constantly monitors the amount of motion between frames. Whilst there is no motion in the scene, the frame rate is reduced to one frame per second. When motion occurs, the frame rate is increased to the maximum specified by the user. This can reduce up to 50-fold, which increases the amount of video which can be stored on an NVR.
