Overview
Avigilon has developed a range of ‘surveillance grade’ Megapixel cameras and recording solutions which capture high quality, highly detailed video images, enabling clear facial and number plate recognition and therefore resulting in positive identification.
With the appropriate lens, Megapixel provides you with the ability to not only take a singe ‘wide angle’ view of your surveillance target, thereby reducing the need for multiple cameras in a single observation post, but also to locate the camera at a substantial distance away from any surveillance aware target.
Designed for the most demanding surveillance applications, Megapixel cameras feature Near Infrared Sensitivity allowing for objects to be seen beyond human vision at night, as well as having Wide Dynamic Range which captures details in scenes with both very bright and very dark areas.
